Lincoln MKX Crossover bigBand/Jazz Tune
Anybody know the name/artist of the BigBand/Jazz Tune (Trumpet w/ Mute playing) on the Lincoln MKX Crossover commercial? (Not "Sleep Walk" by Santo and Johnny; the other commercial.)

Chaz, I have been trying to find the same thing. The Lincoln site only has their new "ANTHEM" posted. I can not even find a copy of the ad on the web AND it is not played that often on TV.
If you should discover the name of the BAND or SONG I would be grateful if you let me know as well. Thanks Matt

Not yet. I'm still searching. It's probably by someone like Louis Armstrong or Roy Eldridge or Duke Ellington or Muggsy Spanier; but I haven't found the exact tune (on iTunes) yet.
Also consider Sidney Bechet and Allan Vache Big Four - if you want to help me search. Happy hunting. Let us all know if anybody finds it.

I had the song in my head for a long time - that riff repeating over and over again. I could've swore I had heard it on Bob Dylan's Theme Time Radio Show on XM Satellite many months ago but couldn't track it down. Then I heard it yesterday in the Lincoln commercial thinking "Is THAT where I heard it???". It may have been played in its entirety on Theme Time Radio, but I can't be certain.

I have heard it elsewhere as well. At the mall and at a restaurant (both of which play some type of piped in MUZAC style in the background had it playing). I believe it is contemporary in that I know about the OLD standards and it is a unique style (could be wrong both places I heard it were playing old standards).
Keep looking folks I will do the same and happy hunting (and thank youf or hunting as well - it is nice to know it has gotten under other peoples "skin" as well). CIAO Matt

I think it is "Right Now" by Mocean Worker. I haven't seen the commercial in a few days and my memory is getting fuzzy. They use this song in other Ford/Mercury ads.

Thanks for the enlightenment! I never would have dreamed that that tune was produced by a modern day 'Remixer'. I've never even heard of Mocean Worker before. Thanks again. Good job.

Most Definately Mocean Worker. Interesting mix of Electronica and real instruments, the electronica mixed to sound like the actual instrument. The last album which this is on has a number of songs like this.
Avaialble at Itunes either the entire album/cd or just the one song.
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!
